“I was overwhelmed with breastfeeding my underweight newborn who had arrived early and was struggling to latch. As a first time mom I was learning as much as my son. I was pumping and feeding what felt like around the clock. I was feeling at my wit’s end when I attended the Milk Party event. Elizabeth worked with us that night, gave us exercises to help improve his latch and connected us to someone for infant bodywork. Most importantly, her expertise and encouragement gave me knowledge and confidence to continue breastfeeding. She was a voice of “yes you can” exactly when I needed it most. Within two weeks we no longer needed the nipple shield and my supply had increased. Grateful for every sweet hair twirl, smile and snuggle that our time feeding continues to bring.”
